For dogs and handlers who have completed Introduction to Scentwork and want to continue to have fun or to participate in AKC Scentwork Trials.

Dogs will further hone their scenting skills by seeking hides that are inaccessible such as hidden, buried, or placed in water. Practice will concentrate on hides above eye level but still considered accessible. Handlers will continue to learn how to read the body language of their dogs during the “hunting experience.”

Off-site locations are an added benefit as long as weather permits.
